NASA SEWP VI Contract Holder

VARFED LLC is a Contract Holder under the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement VI (SEWP VI), a multiple-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).

As a multiple-award GWAC, orders placed under NASA SEWP VI are subject to the Fair Opportunity requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 16.505(b) and the applicable terms and conditions of the NASA SEWP VI contract.

In accordance with FAR 16.505(b), each eligible Contract Holder shall be provided a fair opportunity to be considered for orders issued under the multiple-award contract, except where an applicable exception to the Fair Opportunity process is authorized by FAR 16.505(b)(2) or otherwise permitted under applicable law or the terms of the SEWP VI contract.

The ordering Contracting Officer is responsible for determining the appropriate method for providing Fair Opportunity and for ensuring that each order is placed in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements, agency procedures, and the terms and conditions of the NASA SEWP VI contract.

VARFED LLC supports the principles of fair opportunity, competition, transparency, and best value in connection with orders placed through the NASA SEWP VI GWAC.
